Once you have a blog post written , you can then go to the article directories and distribute it there. There are great article submission tools you can use to get it posted on hundreds of sites and blogs. You also want to change up the wording and not submit the exact same content wording to all of these different places.
The reason articles are so powerful is because unlike a newspaper ad that is gone tomorrow, an article stays working forever. It is a FREE advertising that works 24/7 getting your information out. When you link them back to your blogs and videos it will create more backlinks for you and keep your content ranked high on google , which in turn means more clicks and more traffic to your sales funnel.
