Hello , My name is Doug Cox and I am the creator of the Wealth Leveraging Blog and would like to share a little bit of my story with you. I have owned my own contracting business for 35 years. In 2006 I started to see a decline in the housing industry and decided I was going to start looking around for a easier way of making an income. My contracting business had seen enough of the ups and downs and I was just plain sick of beating my head against the wall trying to provide for my family. Since the only thing I was good at was building houses I decided to start flipping houses. I finished my first one in May of 2007, right when the bottom was getting ready to fall out in the housing industry. Who Knew !! The house sat there for a year on the market and the profit I was hoping to make was rapidly eaten up because of declining home values.
About that time I was introduced to making money online. I was amazed at the power of leverage I was introduced to and saw a way to turn my Florida home into a second vacation home with the money I could earn by building this type of business. Doing what I was told to do I spent thousands trying to get that business up and in profit, buying leads, talking with my friends or family about this great business I had come across. All of the Old School ways of marketing. After about 6 months of getting nowhere , I finally came to the conclusion there had to be a better way of running a internet business after all this was the internet , people were supposed to come to you! There had to be a better way of finding people who were interested I what I had to offer.
It wasn’t long after that when I discovered Attraction Marketing by a guy named Mike Dillard. I had been getting his emails which were telling me about something I had no clue about. I didn’t realize it at the time but I had just discovered a master marketer who had figured it out, how to profit wildly online. For the next 6 months I spent every extra second studying information on attraction marketing from lots of top marketers.
