mistakes most new marketers make when

- They choose the wrong newsletters, and

happen to you. 

- They send out the wrong type of an ad,
and as a result it drastically reduces
the amount of traffic they can generate.

happen to you, and the EXACT type of ad
you should ALWAYS place. 

- They send their traffic to the wrong
landing page, and as a result get few
leads. We've walked through how NOT to
have that happen to you as well as how
to convert up to 66.55% of traffic into
leads. 

- They don't use proper follow up
strategies and as a result they don't
make money even when they do get leads,
and we've discussed EXACTLY what to do
to make money as quickly as possible
with newsletter marketing. 

And now, even if you get all that right,
there's still one more mistake many
newsletter marketers make and by far ... 

NOT making this mistake separates the
pros from the novices.

Mistake #6: "Passive Control" 

Most new newsletter marketers don't
understand that when they "actually"
have a winning ad, and ... 

As a result, they never take the last
step that would ensure them passive
residual traffic for months or years at
a time. 

So ... 

First, let me define what a "WINNING!"
newsletter ad really is ... 

Remember this FOREVER. 

If you make $0.01 more than you spend
that, my friend ... 

Is a "WINNING!" ad. 

When this happens, you should ... 

Pump your fist high into the air, scream
at the top of your lungs in victory, and
take yourself out to a nice steak
dinner. 

Why all the celebration? 

You just created a brand new autopilot,
competition proof, profitable stream of
leads that you can tap into indefinitely
for free. 

If ... 

You play your card right. (we'll get to
"how" to do that in just a few moments) 

Most marketers "think" that if they
don't double or triple their money on a
newsletter ad it's not worth it. 

WRONG! (NOT "WINNING!") 

In fact, if you just change your
perspective to seeing your ads as a
passive lead streams rather than instant
money machines that's ... 

EXACTLY where you'll find the goose that
lays the golden egg with newsletter
marketing. 

Here's why ... 

The second you find an ad spot that is
either slightly profitable or even
slightly unprofitable, by doing what I
share with you next you will INSTANTLY
do two things ... 

1. You'll create at least an additional
20% profit margin. 

2. You'll put your newsletter
advertising on complete autopilot. 

Not bad right? 

It get's better because ... 

Once you've done it ONCE, the "secret"
is to go out and do it again and again. 

(No permission needed. Be aggressive
about it.) 

The reason I like newsletter marketing
SO much above and beyond everything I've
already shared is you get to use ... 

"The Art Of Negotiation" 

See this isn't Google where you can't
speak to your traffic source. 

No, with newsletter marketing, you're
dealing directly with the source of your
traffic on a one to one basis which is
... 

HUGE from a strategic standpoint,
because ... 

When you find a newsletter that shows
promise after your first test if you
just go back to that same newsletter and
propose the following "deal" you'll
always reduce your marketing cost by at
least 20%, which then 

Makes ALL your ads from that moment
forward at least 20% more profitable. 

So wait ... 

Take a step back right there. 

Can you just go to Google or Facebook
and talk to them and then as a result
get a 20% bump in profits. 

It's never happened to me. 

Think about that. 

The result of a single conversation that
... 

I've NEVER had anyone say no to. 

I put 20% more money in my pocket, and
NOT just ... 

On one ad, but every ad that goes out
forever after that newsletter. 

Let's say you spent $200 on ad today. 

You break even, and then you do what I'm
about to show you how to do. 

POOF! 

$40 in your pocket immediately. 

Over 12 months ... 

$480 in increased profits, and that's
just one newsletter. 

Do you see just how powerful this
becomes over time and with multiple
lists? 

Excited? Ok ... 

Here's how you can do the same thing ... 

Wait for it.

It's going to SHOCK you how simple

"Propose A Long Term Deal" 

You go to the newsletter publisher and
you tell them the ad went "ok" and that
you'd like to run the ad again over the
next 3 to 6 months on a monthly basis,
if they're willing to give you a break
on the pricing. 

The way I always do this is I propose
doing a prepay at 80% of the cost of a
one off ad for the next 3 to 6 months. 

So, if I have an ad, that cost me $100,
and I make $105 then I go back to the
newsletter publisher and I propose a 3
month run for $240 paid now. 

First off, they always say yes to this
deal, because they, just like any other
business, want long term customers and
cash now. 

So it's a total "WIN!" for them. 

What this does for you is, over the next
three months you pay $80 per ad so now
that $5 profit is now $25 on a monthly
basis. 

Over three months where you would have
made just $15 with a one off ad, now
you're going to make $75, and ... 

That new profit is new money you can
take and test new potential ad spots. 

This is the EXACT process I've used for
years, and you'll surprise yourself how
quickly you can scale your business with
this little "trick" 

Imagine having 30 different deals like
that set up. 

You're getting high quality traffic from
30 different places and once you've set
up the deal you don't do any work to get
all that additional traffic. 

Let's take that one $100 ad example,
multiply that by 30 and you've now set
up an automated monthly profit margin of
$2,250, and that money ... 

You can either put back into the growth
of your business OR reward yourself with
something nice. 

It doesn't take long to get there, and
all you need to do now is ...

and today it&#8217;s just as powerful as ever.</p>

into my list passively from newsletter<br />
ads I set up months and months ago.</p>

<p>- Mistake #1 Quality Control</p>
<p>Choose the wrong newsletter and you&#8217;ve<br />
lost before you&#8217;ve even started.</p>
<p>RULE: Always put your potential<br />
newsletters through a rigorous quality<br />
control process before spending a dime.</p>
<p>- Mistake #2 Ad Placement Control</p>
<p>Place your ad in the wrong spot even in<br />
the right newsletter and could end up<br />
with very little exposure.</p>
<p>RULE: Always place &#8220;Solo Ad&#8221;, nuf said.</p>
<p>- Mistake #3 Traffic Control</p>
<p>Create the wrong type of an ad and you<br />

<p>Rule: Short punchy ads = Maximum Traffic</p>
<p>Mistake #4 Lead Control</p>
<p>Send your newsletter traffic to the<br />

<p>RULE: Use The Highest Converting Landing<br />
Page Possible</p>

<p>Mistake #5 Profit Control</p>

maximum exposure, we crafted an ad to<br />
get us maximum traffic, and we&#8217;ve create<br />
a landing page that sucks in leads like<br />

<p>How do profit on all our hard work, and<br />
how do we do it in minimum time?</p>

<p>Yesterday I promised, and I&#8217;d share with<br />
you the BIGGEST Mistake most new<br />
newsletter marketers make when they get<br />
started, so let&#8217;s dig into it.</p>
<p>MISTAKE #1: &#8220;Quality Control&#8221;</p>
<p>Make no mistake, this ONE singular<br />
mistake is the BIGGEST mistake most new<br />
newsletter marketers make.</p>
<p>It costs them a LOT of money, and I&#8217;ve<br />
even made this exact mistake to the tune<br />
of $2,683 on a single ad.</p>
<p>Imagine, making one slight mistake and<br />
having it cost you $2,683.</p>
<p>It sucks, so my goal in today&#8217;s lesson<br />
is to make sure you NEVER make this<br />
mistake in your newsletter marketing<br />
efforts.</p>
<p>I call this mistake &#8220;Quality Control&#8221;<br />
because the truth is, most new<br />
newsletter marketers simple choose the<br />
WRONG newsletters to place their ads in<br />
in the first place.</p>
<p>You get this wrong and you&#8217;ve got little<br />
to no chance of creating that 2000+ lead<br />
day yourself.</p>
<p>When I made this mistake I paid $2,683<br />
for a newsletter that was SUPPOSED to go<br />
out to 200,000+ subscribers.</p>
<p>I got all the other steps right (I&#8217;ll go<br />
through those in nest few lessons), but<br />
because I got this one step wrong &#8230;</p>
<p>On the day this ad went out I generate<br />
all of 2 unique visitors. Me, and the<br />
guy that stole my money.</p>
<p>A fun day:)</p>
<p>The mistake I made wasn&#8217;t exactly the<br />
same mistake most new newsletter<br />
marketers make but I made it based on<br />
the same root cause.</p>
<p>Most new marketer will judge a<br />
newsletters responsiveness based on one<br />
of two criteria.</p>
<p>- How cheap it is</p>
<p>- What testimonials they see on the<br />
&#8220;Advertise With Us&#8221; page</p>
<p>Both mistakes are totally<br />
understandable. I mean &#8230;</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re just getting started you&#8217;re<br />
probably looking for bargains, and<br />
you&#8217;re basing those bargains on price,<br />
or &#8230;</p>
<p>You&#8217;re they&#8217;re looking for some form of<br />
positive reinforcement before they spend<br />
money, and when they see a bunch of<br />
people praising a newsletter they feel<br />
more confident about their choice.</p>
<p>Makes sense right?</p>
<p>But &#8230;</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the REAL deal &#8230;</p>
<p>Neither price nor what other people say<br />
about how great any newsletter is will<br />
dictate the success of your ad.</p>
<p>Price I think you get. You get what you<br />
pay for, but testimonials &#8230;</p>
<p>Those testimonials could be 12 years old<br />
for all you know. Basing whether or not<br />
you should place an ad on something<br />
another person potentially said 12 years<br />
ago isn&#8217;t going guarantee you see the<br />
same results now.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s happened over the<br />
last 12 years. Maybe the newsletter<br />
publisher was growing his list like<br />
crazy back then, but today he hasn&#8217;t put<br />
a new lead on that list in years, but<br />
he&#8217;s still charging the same price.</p>
<p>And &#8230;</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t care how good of a marketer you<br />
are, no marketing magic is going to pull<br />
a response from 12 year old leads.</p>
<p>My point is, if you place an ad with the<br />
cheapest newsletter you can find or the<br />
one with the most testimonials can very<br />
well be the fast path to wasting money.</p>
<p>MANY &#8230; MANY &#8230; new marketers make<br />
this mistake. Don&#8217;t let it be you.</p>
